Because it’s fun.
Making strange things with people you trust is good for its own sake. Not every project needs a market, a platform, a growth plan, or a respectable explanation.
A character sketch can be enough. So can a bad song, a tiny tool, a shared meal, or an idea that only makes sense to the people in the room.

Because we are in a hostile environment for art that uses AI in any way, shape, or form.
Some criticism is necessary. Consent, credit, labor, and power matter. But hostility can also make people hide the work before they have had a chance to make it, learn, or decide what they believe.
TH4F makes a smaller room for that learning. AI is welcome, never required, and never the whole identity.
A LONG MEMORY
People have always made room under the nose of polite society.
Trans people have operated under the nose of polite society for millennia, using signals, chosen names, private rooms, and trusted networks to make lives that official culture did not know how to hold.
The words and categories change across place and time. The through-line is not that every culture meant the same thing. It is that people have always found ways to recognize one another, protect one another, and make something real.
“A quiet code. A trusted room. A way to be legible to the people who need to recognize you.”
This is a connection across histories, not a claim that every earlier life fits a modern label. For context, read the National Park Service transgender history guide and the Library of Congress Digital Transgender Archive.
